HEROIC analysts monitoring dark web Telegram channels identified a stealer log file distributed under the name TXT Cloud - LOGS_300PCS in July 2025. The log package contained 15,093 compromised records harvested from infected endpoints across the United States. Each record included email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the services where those credentials were captured. This is the kind of data that moves quickly through underground channels before most victims have any idea their accounts are at risk.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are not just lists of usernames and passwords. They are structured snapshots of a victim's entire credential footprint at the moment their device was compromised. When plaintext passwords are included alongside the exact URLs where they were used, attackers can immediately log in to those services without any additional cracking. The combination of email, password, and URL is a ready-to-use toolkit for account takeover. Victims who reuse the same password across multiple sites are especially at risk, since one exposed record can unlock dozens of accounts.

What Was Exposed in the TXT Cloud LOGS_300PCS Leak

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (the specific services where credentials were captured)

Why This Matters for Your Security

Data from stealer logs fuels some of the most damaging cyberattacks occurring today. Here is what attackers do with this type of data:

  • Credential stuffing: Automated tools test exposed email and password pairs against hundreds of popular websites simultaneously.
  • Account takeover: Once inside an account, attackers change recovery details to lock victims out permanently.
  • Identity theft: Email access leads to password resets on banking, shopping, and government accounts.
  • Financial fraud: Direct access to financial service URLs in the log means attackers know exactly which banking or payment accounts to target.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is the output of an infostealer, a category of malware that silently installs itself on a victim's device, usually through a phishing email, fake software download, or malicious browser extension. Once running, the malware harvests saved passwords from browsers, session cookies, and autofill data. It then packages everything into a structured log file and transmits it to the attacker's server. The attacker may use the data directly or sell the log in bulk on dark web marketplaces and Telegram channels. Because the theft happens silently at the device level, victims rarely receive any warning that their credentials have been compromised.
