In October 2025, a source tracked by HEROIC as Universe_ULP surfaced on a Telegram channel, spilling 67,517 records into the hands of anyone wich wanted them. The file looked like a typical stealer log dump: endpoints, emails, and plaintext passwords, all bundled together and shared for free or for a small price. It's the kind of leak that doesn't make headlines but still puts real people at risk every day.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs like this one are dangerous precisely because they're boring. Nobody put out a press release when the breach occured, and most of the 67,517 people in this file probably have no idea their login information is floating around a Telegram group. Criminals don't need a fancy hack for this one, they just need to know how to download a file and open it in a spreadsheet.

What Was Exposed

  • 67,517 total records
  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords (not hashed, not encrypted)
  • URLs tied to the accounts and services people logged into

Why This Matters

When a password sits in plaintext, there's nothing standing between an attacker and your account. If you recieve emails, log into shopping sites, or bank online using any of the credentials in this dump, someone could try them against dozens of other services, banking on the fact that most people reuse the same password everywhere.

How a Stealer Log Works

A stealer log comes from malware quietly installed on someone's device, often hidden inside a cracked game, a fake software download, or a shady browser extension. Once it's running, it grabs saved passwords, cookies, and autofill data straight from the browser and quietly sends everything back to whoever is controlling the malware. That data then gets bundled into a file, like the one behind Universe_ULP, and traded or dumped on channels like Telegram.
