Poland Valid Access Stealer Log: 16 Records Exposed

On 21-Nov-2024, HEROIC analysts identified a small stealer log file titled "POLAND VALID ACCESS" uploaded by a Telegram user in a channel used to trade stolen login data. The file contained just 16 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL of the site the login was captured on. Small as it is, every one of those 16 accounts is genuinely exposed.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

A small record count does not mean a small risk for the people affected. Each entry in this file pairs a working password with the exact site it unlocks, so an attacker can log in immediately without any guessing. Because the passwords were stored in plaintext, there is no encryption standing in the way, meaning the 16 accounts in this file are just as easy to access as they would be in a much larger leak.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites the credentials were used on

Why This Matters

Anyone among these 16 records who has reused their password elsewhere is exposed to credential stuffing, where the same email and password combination gets tried automatically on other sites like banking or email. Because the exact URL is already attached to the record, an attacker does not need to guess where to try first, making account takeover a real and immediate possibility for those affected.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are created by malware that infects a device and quietly copies saved browser logins, passwords, and the sites they belong to. That stolen data is compiled into files, sometimes small and labeled with a specific focus like "valid access," and shared or sold through Telegram channels and dark web forums, exactly as this file was.

Check If You Are Affected

Even a small leak like this one is worth checking against directly. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, including stealer logs like this one, so you can quickly confirm whether you were affected and secure your account.
