In August 2023, the Logs channel - Usmancloud 12 250logs stealer log was uploaded to a Telegram channel and distributed among threat actors. The file contained 3,208 records, each pairing a plaintext password with an email address and the URL of the service where those credentials were originally captured. HEROIC analysts verified the data and added it to the breach database on May 14, 2026. That means this data has been in circulation among attackers for close to three years.

The Usmancloud 12 Breach Happened in 2023. The Data Is Still in Active Use Today.

Stealer log data does not expire. Once a file like the Usmancloud 12 250logs release lands on Telegram, it gets downloaded, copied, repackaged, and redistributed for years. The 3,208 credentials in this file may have been used in login attempts dozens of times by now, across banking portals, email providers, and other services where the victims hold accounts.

If your credentials are in this file and you have not changed your passwords since 2023, your accounts remain exposed today. The plaintext nature of the passwords means there is no time barrier to exploitation. Anyone with access to the file can try your credentials at any moment.

What Was Exposed in the Usmancloud 12 250logs File

  • Email Addresses: Real email addresses tied to active accounts across multiple platforms
  • Plaintext Passwords: Unencrypted passwords immediately usable for credential stuffing and account takeover
  • URLs: The specific web services from which each credential was harvested by malware

Why This Matters: Three Years of Exposure Is Three Years of Risk

Most data breach victims do not find out their credentials were stolen until long after the fact. The Usmancloud 12 file is a clear example of this timing problem. The data was stolen in 2023, distributed on Telegram shortly after, and is only now being widely indexed and made searchable through breach monitoring services.

During that window, every credential in this file was potentialy available to any threat actor who wanted it. Credential stuffing attacks, identity theft, and unauthorised account access could all have occured well before the data was publicly catalogued. If you use the same passwords today that you used in 2023, this breach is still an active risk for you.

How the Usmancloud 12 Stealer Log Was Created and Distributed

The Usmancloud channel on Telegram functions as a recurring stealer log distribution service. Each numbered release represents a new batch of credentials harvested by infostealer malware from infected devices. The 12th release, labelled 250logs to indicate the number of individual log bundles, was assembled from malware infections across multiple devices and compiled into a single file for distribution.

Infostealer malware works by silently scanning a device for browser-saved credentials, active session cookies, and stored URLs. It packages that information into a structured log file and transmits it back to the operator. Those files are then batched, numbered, and releesed through channels like Usmancloud, where anyone with access can download them.

The 250 log bundles in this release collectively yielded 3,208 usable credential records, a substantial volume of material for credential stuffing and targeted account attacks.
