In December 2025, HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log file titled VALENCIGA - BUY TRAFFIC LIVE LOGS 415 circulating on Telegram. The file had been uploaded by an anonymous user and contained 32,431 records pulled from compromised devices in the United States. The exposed data included email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs that point to the specific sites and services where those credentials were in use.

The name of this file is telling. "Buy Traffic" is a phrase used in certain underground communities to refer to purchasing access to infected machines or redirected visitors. The "Live Logs" label suggests these credentials were fresh at the time of collection, meaning the accounts they belong to were likely still active and accessible when the file was shared.

What the VALENCIGA Live Log Dataset Contained

  • Email addresses tied to active accounts
  • Plaintext passwords with no encryption or hashing
  • URLs indicating exactly which platforms the credentials are valid for

Why Live Logs With Plaintext Passwords Create Immediate Risk

The phrase "live logs" refers to credentials that were recieved while accounts were still active. Unlike older breach data that may be partially outdated, live logs are often used within hours of collection. An attacker armed with a matching email, password, and URL can walk straight into an account without guessing or cracking anything.

Once inside a single account, the path to broader damage is short. Email inboxes can be used to reset passwords on banking and shopping sites. Social media accounts can be hijacked for fraud. If a person reused the same password on multiple services, every one of those accounts is at risk. Identity theft, unautorized purchases, and account lockouts are typical outcomes from this type of exposure.

How the VALENCIGA Stealer Log Was Built and Distributed

This log is the product of malware installed on victims' machines without their knowledge. Once active, the malware harvests stored browser credentials, including saved usernames, passwords, and the associated site URLs. All of that data is packaged into a log file and sent to whoever is operating the malware campaign.

Files like this one are frequently sold or given away in private Telegram channels. The channel associated with VALENCIGA appears to have operated as a marketplace where access to infected machines and harvested credentials were traded. The 415 in the filename likely refers to a batch or session number, suggesting this was part of an ongoing, organized operation rather than a single incident.
