In March 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log calling itself "34K Valid Goods," shared by a Telegram user advertising fresh, working credentials. The file actually contained 34,804 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs tied to each login.

What Attackers Can Do With the Valid Goods Log

The name alone tells you the intent. Whoever posted this log wanted buyers to know the credentials inside still work, which is worse than an old, expired database, because every entry can likely be used right now to log into a real account.

With a working email and password pair, an attacker does not need to guess or crack anything. They can log straight into email inboxes, shopping accounts, or any other service tied to that URL.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the matching login pages

Why This Matters

Valid, working logins are exactly what fuel credential stuffing attacks. Criminals plug stolen email and password combos into dozens of other websites, betting that the same password was resued somewhere important, like a bank or a work account.

Once one account falls, it often opens the door to others. That is how a small leak like this one can snowball into full account takeover, stolen funds, or identity theft.

How Stealer Log Breaches Like This Happen

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware that infects a victim's device, often through a pirated program, a fake browser update, or a booby-trapped attachment. Once running, the malware quietly pulls saved passwords and site data straight out of the browser.

The stolen data is then packaged into a log file and sold or given away in Telegram channels like the one where this file suface. Buyers use the logs immediatly, since fresher logs mean a higher chance the passwords still work.
