On June 18, 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log called "Wako_Cloud_2" uploaded to Telegram, containing 20,419 records of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the login URLs those credentials belong to. The data appears to have been harvested from infected devices rather than pulled from a single company's servers.

What Happens Next If Wako_Cloud_2 Goes Unaddressed

Leaving this breach unaddressed sets off a predictable chain of events. First, the log gets copied and passed around Telegram channels. Then automated tools start testing the emails and passwords against other websites. Any match becomes a compromised account within minutes, not months.

From there, the consequences escalate quickly. A hijacked email inbox can be used to reset passwords on banking apps, shopping accounts, and social media, giving an attacker a foothold that spreads far beyond the original login.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated login URLs

Why This Matters

Credential stuffing is the direct link between a small stealer log and a much bigger problem. Attackers do not need to hack anything new. They simply reuse what is already sitting in a leaked log like Wako_Cloud_2.

The end result of that reuse is often account takeover, fraudulent purchases, or a stolen identity that takes months to unwind, all traced back to one exposed password.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware infiltrates a device through a phishing link, a fake download, or bundled with pirated software. Once running, it quietly copies saved browser passwords and autofill data before compressing everything into a text file.

That file, like the one behind Wako_Cloud_2, is then uploaded to Telegram or dark web forums, where it can be grabbed by anyone within minutes of being posted.

Check If You Are Affected

The sooner you check, the less chance an attacker has to act first. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches a database of over 400 billion compromised records to tell you immediately if your information showed up in this leak or any other.
