A Telegram Stealer Log Called "Mixed Valid" Adds 667 Records to HEROIC's Dark Web Tracking

On February 16, 2025, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dataset shared by a Telegram user under the label "Mixed Valid." The file held 667 records, and each one combined an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site that login belonged to.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

The danger here comes down to completeness. Instead of a partial clue, each record hands an attacker a working set: who the account belongs to, what the password is in plain, readable text, and exactly which website to use it on. There is nothing left to guess or crack, which means the 667 people in this file are exposed to immediate account access the moment someone opens this data.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs identifying the site each login was used on

Why This Matters

Plaintext passwords paired with matching URLs are ideal material for credential stuffing, where attackers automatically test the same email and password combination across many other sites. Anyone in this batch who reuses passwords across accounts faces a real risk of account takeover well beyond the single login exposed here. The specific URL included in each record also removes the guesswork, letting an attacker go straight to the right site.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is created by malware that infects a device, quietly harvests saved browser passwords, autofill data, and site URLs, then sends that information back to the attacker who deployed it. Infections usually spread through cracked software, fake downloads, or malicious attachments. Once collected, the stolen data is packaged into files like this one and circulated in Telegram channels and dark web forums, which is exactly where HEROIC's analysts spotted this dataset.
