SunCloudNew Stealer Log Surfaces on Telegram

HEROIC analysts identified a large stealer log labeled SunCloudNew, uploaded to a Telegram channel on 26 July 2026. The file contains 338,270 records taken directly from infected devices, combining email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the accounts those credentials open. At more than 338,000 entries, this is one of the larger stealer log dumps HEROIC has tracked recently, giving whoever holds it a substantial batch of ready-to-use logins.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Because SunCloudNew pairs each password with the exact website it was used on, an attacker doesn't need to guess or crack anything. They can go directly to the matching login page and try the credential. With 338,270 records in play, even a small fraction of still-active logins gives criminals a large working set of accounts to exploit, all without a single hacking attempt against the sites themselves.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to individual accounts
  • Plaintext passwords for those accounts
  • URLs identifying exactly which sites the credentials belong to

Why This Matters

With a batch this size, account takeover is a real and immediate risk, since attackers have direct login access to any account whose credentials are still valid. Credential stuffing multiplies that risk further: because many people reuse the same password across different sites, a single record from SunCloudNew could give an attacker access to a victim's email, banking, or shopping accounts well beyond the one it was originally taken from.

What Is a Stealer Log?

A stealer log is what's left behind after malware infects a device and quietly collects everything the browser has saved: usernames, passwords, and the exact websites they're used on. Unlike a traditional data breach, which comes from a single company's servers, a stealer log is built one infected computer at a time and can contain logins for dozens of unrelated sites. Once collected, the log is packaged into a file and distributed, in this case uploaded to a Telegram channel, making it accessible to anyone who downloads it.
