The Xavier_Group Stealer Log Exposed 9,686 Login Credentials
HEROIC analysts found a second stealer log file tagged "Xavier_Group" that surfaced on Telegram on September 19, 2025, two days before a related file we also reviewed. This one contains 9,686 records with email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs tied to each login. As with other logs bearing this tag, "Xavier_Group" looks like a label the uploader chose for the file rather than a public statement naming a breached company, so we are treating it as an unverified stealer log dataset until more context surfaces.
Why This Is Dangerous
Because the passwords in this file are stored in plaintext, an attacker can use them the moment they get their hands on the log, no cracking required. Paired with the matching email address and the URL of the site each login was used on, this is effectively a ready to use list of accounts an attacker can log into directly, whether that is a personal inbox or a work login.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs linked to each login
Why This Matters
Most people reuse passwords across multiple sites, which is exactly what makes stealer logs so valuable to attackers. A password captured from one login can be tried against email providers, banking portals, and workplace tools in an automated process known as credential stuffing. Where it works, the result is account takeover, and from there, identity theft or financial fraud becomes a realistic next step.
How Stealer Malware Builds a Log Like This
Stealer malware infects a device, often disguised as pirated software, a game cheat, or a cracked tool, then quietly reads the passwords and autofill data saved in the victim's browser. Everything it finds, usernames, passwords, and the web addresses they belong to, gets packaged into a log file and shipped back to whoever is running the malware. Files like this 9,686 record log are then shared or sold on Telegram, which is exactly where our analysts located it.
