Records Exposed 9,150
Source Type Stealer log
Origin United States
Password Type plaintext

HEROIC's DarkHive threat intelligence team discovered a second stealer log dump attributed to the Telegram user "XIII_LOGS" circulating through private messaging channels. This particular dataset contains 9,150 records, each one exposing an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the website where the credentials were used. The data was originally leaked in April 2023 and has been actively traded among threat actors since.

Our analysts confirmed this is a seperate dump from the earlier XIII_LOGS release, containing a distinct set of victims. The plaintext nature of the passwords means there is nothing to crack. Every credential in this file is immediately usable, making it one of the more dangerous types of data leaks we track.

What Our Analysts Found in the XIII Logs 9K Dump

  • Email Addresses: Over 9,000 unique email accounts connected to real online services and platforms
  • Plaintext Passwords: Raw, unencrypted passwords captured directly from victims' browsers
  • URLs: Website addresses showing exactly which services each credential unlocks

Why 9,150 Stolen Credentials Are More Dangerous Than You Think

A dataset of 9,150 records might not sound massive, but stealer log data is fundementally different from a typical breach. Each record represents a real device that was compromised by malware. The credentials are not theoretical or outdated. They were captured live from the victim's browser, which means many of them are still valid today.

Attackers use this data for credential stuffing, where automated tools test stolen email and password pairs across hundreds of popular websites. Banking portals, email providers, e-commerce sites, and cloud storage platforms are all common targets. A single valid login can lead to financial fraud, identity theft, or full account takeover. If the victim reused their password across multiple services, the damage multiplies quickly.

How Infostealer Malware Powers These Telegram Dumps

The XIII Logs data was harvested by infostealer malware running on victims' devices. This category of malware gets installed through deceptive means: fake software cracks, compromised browser extensions, phishing links, or trojanized downloads. Once active, it quietly captures everything stored in the browser, including saved passwords, autofill data, cookies, and session tokens.

The malware packages all of this into organized log files and sends them back to the attacker. These logs are then distributed on Telegram channels, sometimes for free and sometimes for sale. Because the data is pulled straight from real devices in real time, stealer logs are considered some of the most reliabel and actionable stolen data available on the dark web.
