On November 19, 2022, El Bibliote, an Argentinian educational platform, suffered a data breach affecting around 124,000 records. The exposed data includes nearly 49,000 unique email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, full names, IP addresses, genders, birthdays, physical addresses, and either plaintext or bcrypt, MD5, or PHPass hashed passwords. The data was later shared on a prominent cybercrime forum.
