In February 2023, HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log file uploaded directly to a Telegram channel by an anonymous user. The file, identified as 274logs274, contained 3,728 records including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs collected by infostealer malware from infected devices. The upload method, a direct share on Telegram, ensured rapid and wide distribution among threat actors with no barriers to access.

Once active, it collects saved browser passwords, captures URLs from active login sessions, and records credentials typed into forms. The harvested data is bundled into a structured log and sent back to the attacker's server.

The 274logs274 file was then uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user, making it freely accessable to anyone in the relevant channels. This distribution method is common for smaller stealer log bundles. The naming convention, a numbered identifier, suggests it was part of a larger series of log files being shared in bulk across the same Telegram network.
