We noticed an unusual surge in outbound traffic originating from a previously dormant internal endpoint on December 9th, 2025. This anomaly, coupled with subsequent alerts from our endpoint detection and response (EDR) system flagging suspicious process activity, immediately triggered a deeper investigation. What struck us as particularly concerning was the nature of the data being exfiltrated: a seemingly random assortment of credentials and URLs, rather than a targeted data dump. The discovery of this stealer log file on a public Telegram channel, containing a significant number of our users' sensitive information, solidified the severity of the incident.
The incident originated from a compromised endpoint, identified as LogsDiller Cloud_421_206, which was subsequently found to have uploaded a stealer log file to a Telegram user. This log file contained 5,201 records, primarily consisting of email addresses and associated plaintext passwords. Additionally, a number of URLs were also exposed, potentially indicating compromised browsing sessions or saved credentials for web services. The source structure of the leaked data points to a common credential-stealing malware, which likely captured this information directly from the affected endpoint's memory or local storage.
