HEROIC found the RAZERTOP Fresh Logs breach on December 25, 2022. The incident exposed 20,692 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs from a stealer log targeting United States accounts.

Why the RAZERTOP Breach Is Dangerous

Labeled as private and fresh by the uploader, the RAZERTOP logs contain 20,692 recently harvested credentials that had not yet been widely circulated at the time of upload. Stealer logs compiled from active infections produce plaintext passwords tied directly to the login URLs where they were used, enabling attackers to begin account takeover attempts immediatly without any cracking or guesswork. The freshness of the data at the time of upload made these credentials especially high-value for credential stuffing operations.

What Was Exposed in the RAZERTOP Leak

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs (account login pages and API hosts)

Why This RAZERTOP Data Puts You at Risk

Identity theft becomes significantly easier when attackers possess a victim's email, password, and the URLs of the services they use. With 20,692 records exposed, fradulent account access, unauthorized purchases, and social engineering attacks can all be launched against affected users. Attackers who compromise email accounts can also harvest personal information from archived messages, enabling long-term identity exploitation. Users who have not changed passwords since 2022 remain at risk from ongoing credential stuffing campaigns.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer log breaches occur when infostealer malware infects a device through phishing emails, cracked software downloads, or malicious browser extensions. Once installed, the malware automaticaly captures browser-saved credentials, session tokens, and the URLs of recently visited sites, packaging everything into structured log files. These files are sold or publicly shared on Telegram channels and dark web markets where buyers quickly weaponize them against affected accounts.
