When the ReimannCloud 07-07 stealer log surfaced on Telegram in April 2023, it handed attackers exactly what they needed: 2,905 records of plaintext passwords, email adresses, and endpoint URLs harvested by infostealer malware. Unlike encrypted credential dumps that require time and computing power to crack, this archive required zero preparation. Anyone who downloaded it could begin logging into victim accounts within seconds of opening the file.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs give attackers a decisive advantage because the work is already done. Infostealer malware collects everything cached in a browser, including saved passwords, active session cookies, and autofill data. Because ReimannCloud 07-07 contains passwords in plaintext, there is no cracking step. Attackers can load the credentials directly into automated tools and attempt logins across hundreds of services simultaneously, a technique known as credential stuffing.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Endpoint and API host URLs
  • Browser session tokens and cookies
  • Device and system fingerprint data

Why This Matters

With plaintext passwords in hand, attackers do not stop at one account. They test the same email-and-password combination against banking portals, email providers, cloud storage, and corporate tools. Password reuse across servises is common enough that a single stealer log entry can unlock a victim's entire digital life. The 2,905 records in this dump represent 2,905 individuals whose online accounts were immediately at risk the moment the file was uploaded to Telegram.

How a Stealer Log Works

Infostealer malware typically arrives through cracked software downloads, malicious email attachments, or fake update prompts. Once installed, it silently sweeps browser profiles, password managers, and messaging apps, then transmits the collected data to a remote server. Operators package the harvested records into log files and sell or publish them on Telegram channels, dark web forums, and marketplaces. The ReimannCloud 07-07 dump followed this exact patern, going from malware infection to public Telegram post in a compressed timeframe.
