Records Exposed 24,120
Source Type Stealer log
Origin Telegram
Password Type plaintext

In November 2025, HEROIC researchers found a stealer log file uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user on November 5th. The file, labeled LOGS_900PCS, contained 24,120 records harvested from infected devices. The data included plaintext passwords, email addresses, and the URLs those credentials were used on, giving anyone who accessed the file an instant roadmap to compromised accounts.

Why This Data Is Dangerous

When passwords are stored in plaintext, there is nothing standing between a criminal and your accounts. No cracking, no guessing. Combined with the exact URLs the credentials belong to, an attacker can log straight into the affected services. With 24,120 records in one file, the scale of potential damage here is significant. Each record represents a real person whose accounts are at immediate risk.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • Associated URLs

Why This Matters to You

Stealer logs do not stay in one place. Once uploaded to Telegram, they get shared, downloaded, and repurposed by dozens of bad actors. Credentials from this dump may already be used in credential stuffing campaigns, where attackers test the same email and password combination across hundrets of websites. Account takeover, identity theft, and finantial fraud are the most common consequences for victims who do not act quickly.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer malware gets onto devices through phishing emails, malicious downloads, or compromized software. Once installed, it silently collects saved passwords from browsers, email clients, and apps. It then sends that data back to the attacker in a structured log file. Those log files get packaged and sold or shared freely on Telegram channels and dark web forums. The whole process can happen in minutes, and victims typically have no idea their credentials were taken.
