HEROIC analysts found a stealer log circulating on Telegram on November 20, 2025, listed as "1.7K FRESH HOTMAIL VALID - TXT CLOUD." The file contained 1,751 records of Microsoft Hotmail and Outlook credentials, distributed via a cloud text storage link. The word "fresh" in the filename is a key indicator: in credential trading communities, freshness means these logins had been recently validated and were unlikely to have been changed by account holders yet. Each record included an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL confirming the login was tested against a Microsoft authentication endpoint.

Why "Fresh" Hotmail Credentials Are Immediately Actionable for Attackers

When a credential seller labels a file "fresh" and "valid," they are telling buyers that the hard work is done. The logins have already been checked against Microsoft's login system and confirmed as working. An attacker who downloads this file can start attempting account access immediately, without any additional verification step. For the 1,751 account owners in this file, the risk is not theoretical -- their accounts may already have been accessed, messages read, and password reset links intercepted by the time the file became publicly known.

What Was Exposed in the 1.7K Fresh Hotmail Valid TXT Cloud Dump

  • Microsoft Hotmail and Outlook email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords (confirmed working at the time of validation)
  • URLs confirming the Microsoft login system as the target

Why a Compromised Hotmail Account Puts Everything Else at Risk

Microsoft email accounts -- whether Hotmail, Outlook, or Live -- are often the central hub of a person's online identity. Password reset emails for banks, retailers, social networks, and workplace systems all route through this inbox. If an attacker controls your Hotmail, they can silently intercept reset emails, change passwords on other accounts, and cover their tracks before you notice anything is wrong. This is not a niche risk for tech-savvy users -- it is a real threat to anyone whose email address is in this file. The 1,751 accounts here are all potentialy exposed to this exact scenaro.

How Fresh Hotmail Hit Lists Are Built and Sold on Telegram

Stealer malware harvests every saved password from a victim's browser, including Microsoft account credentials. These raw credentials are then run through an automated checker that tests each one against Microsoft's login API. Only the entries that return a successful login are kept -- these become the "valid" hits. The valid entries are sorted, packaged, and uploaded to Telegram as named hit files. The "TXT CLOUD" distribution method means the file was hosted on an external platform and linked from Telegram, making it accessable to anyone who subscribed to the channel or forwarded the link. Fresh lists like this one command higher prices than old or unverified dumps becuase buyers know the data is ready to use immediately.
