HEROIC analysts identified a combolist named "2.4K MIX" that was uploaded to Telegram, originally leaked in March 2025. The file contains 2,360 records pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords, along with the login URLs those credentials belong to.

Why This Is Dangerous

Because these passwords are stored as plaintext, anyone who gets the file can read them exactly as they were originally typed, no cracking tools needed. Combined with the matching login URL, an attacker can go directly to the sign in page for each account and attempt to log in right away.

  • Plaintext Password
  • URLs

Why This Matters

A password that unlocks one account often unlocks several more. If any of the 2,360 people in this file reused their email and password combination on a bank, another email provider, or a social media account, that reused password puts every one of those accounts at risk of takeover through credential stuffing, a technique attackers use to automatically test stolen logins across many sites at once.

How Combolists Work

A combolist is a plain text file of email or username and password pairs, usually assembled from older breaches, phishing pages, or malware infections and then shared or sold on Telegram. Because the "2.4K MIX" file dates back to March 2025, the credentials inside it have likely been circulating and reused by different threat actors for months before being uploaded again, which is why old leaks like this one still matter.

Check If You Are Affected

You don't need to guess whether your credentials are part of this file or another one like it. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, so you can find out in seconds if you were exposed and update any reused passwords before someone else uses them.
