In June 2023, HEROIC's threat intelligence team identified a stealer log file uploaded by a Telegram user operating under the alias 32_Boss. The dataset exposed 1,080 records containing endpoint credentials, email addresses, API host information, and plaintext passwords. This type of leak is a hallmark of modern infostealer malware campaigns, where infected devices silently harvest saved credentials before transmitting them to attacker-controlled channels.


Why This Is Dangerous

When attackers obtain stealer log data, they immediatly put it to work. The combination of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs gives threat actors a precise roadmap to targeted accounts. Unlike hashed credentials that require cracking, plaintext passwords can be used directly in automated login scripts. Attackers will test these credentials across banking portals, email providers, social media platforms, and corporate VPNs within hours of obtaining the data.


What Was Exposed

The 32_Boss Telegram stealer log contained the following data types for each of the 1,080 affected records:

  • URLs (endpoint and API host addresses)
