HEROIC analysts tracked the 450 PCS - NEVERHODE FREE stealer log to a Telegram upload in September 2023. The file contained 4,678 records gathered by infostealer malware running on compromised devices. Each record included an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site where that password was used. The label "450 PCS" refers to the number of infected devices, or pieces, contributing data to this particular dump.

The NEVERHODE branding suggests this log was distributed through a Telegram channel operating as a free sharing hub, where threat actors post stolen credential files to gain credibility or grow an audience. That means the data was not just available to one attacker. It was broadcast to anyone following that channel.

Why the NEVERHODE FREE Log Is Dangerous

Free Telegram channels that distribute stealer logs often have hundreds or thousands of subscribers. This log was not sold to a single buyer. It was handed out openly, meaning an unknown number of people now have access to these 4,678 records and the plaintext passwords inside them.

With both email addresses and the exact URLs the passwords belong to, attackers don't need to guess anything. They know your email, they know your password, and they know which site to use it on. That is about as complete a set of stolen credentials as it gets.

What Was Exposed in the NEVERHODE FREE Dump

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (the specific login pages the credentials were stolen from)

Why This Matters: Credential Stuffing, Takeover, and Fraud

Credential stuffing is the most immediate danger following a leak like this. Attackers feed the email and password pairs into automated tools that test them across banking sites, email providers, streaming services, and online retailers. Accounts that share passwords with the exposed credentials get taken over fast.

Account takeover of an email address is particularly serious. With inbox access, an attacker can trigger password resets for every service linked to that address. From there, identity theft and financial fraud become straightforward. Even if you change your passwords now, your email address has been confirmed as active and linked to real accounts, making you a target for targeted phishing going forward.

Password reuse is the main reason these attacks succeed. Even one shared password between a compromised account and an important account is enough for the whole chain to fall.

How Infostealer Malware Produces Logs Like This One

An infostealer infection typically starts quietly. The malware arrives through a phishing email, a fake software crack, a rogue browser extension, or a malicious download disguised as something useful. Once it runs, it immediately begins scanning the device for saved passwords stored in browsers, session cookies, and any credentials cached by apps.

The malware packages everything it finds into a structured log file and transmits it back to the attacker. This whole process can take seconds. The device owner may notice nothing at all. In some cases, the malware uninstalls itself after sending the log to avoid detection.

These logs are then sorted and packaged for distribution. Some get sold on dark web markets. Others, like the NEVERHODE FREE dump, get posted to Telegram channels where they are shared widely and freely. The more people who have access to a log, the more attacks can occure against the people in it.
