What an Attacker Can Do With This Hotmail Leak

HEROIC analysts found a file titled "HOTMAIL COMBO MAIL ACCESS 2" uploaded to Telegram on June 7, 2026. It contains 796 records, each pairing a Hotmail email address with a plaintext password and the URL the login was used on.

Why This Is Dangerous

With this data, an attacker does not need to guess or crack anything, they can simply enter the email and password directly into Hotmail's login page and gain full mail access. From there, they can read private messages, find security questions or linked accounts, and reset passwords on any other service connected to that inbox.
