Our Analysts Found the LOGSYNC Dump of 75,807 Logins on Telegram
HEROIC analysts found a stealer log tied to a source labeled LOGSYNC circulating on a public Telegram channel on May 28, 2025. The file contained 75,807 compromised records from devices in the United States, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the login pages the credentials belonged to.
Why This Is Dangerous
Every one of these 75,807 records pairs a working email address with its exact password in plaintext, plus the URL of the site it unlocks. There is no encryption to break and no guessing involved. Anyone who downloads this file from the Telegram channel our analysts found it in can immediately attempt to log into tens of thousands of accounts.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the associated login pages
Why This Matters
Once a log this size circulates on Telegram, it rarely stays contained. It gets copied, merged with other logs, and folded into larger combolists used for credential stuffing, where stolen email and password pairs are automatically tested against banking sites, email providers, and social platforms. Because these passwords were exposed in plaintext, the only thing standing between an attacker and account takeover is whether the password was reused elsewhere, a risk that extends to identity theft and financial fraud.
How This Stealer Log Was Created
Logs like this one, tracked here under the name LOGSYNC, come from information-stealing malware that infects a device through a cracked program, pirated download, or malicious link. Once active, the malware pulls saved usernames and passwords directly out of the browser, along with the exact URL of each site those credentials unlock, and compiles it all into a single file. That file is then shared through Telegram channels, which is exactly where HEROIC analysts located this one.
Check If You Are Affected
Stealer logs like this one are especially dangerous because the credentials inside are current and unencrypted. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, including stealer logs like this LOGSYNC upload, so you can find out quickly whether your information was part of this exposure.
