Source Type Stealer log
Origin Telegram
Password Type plaintext

HEROIC analysts were monitoring a public Telegram channel on July 22, 2025, when they spotted a stealer log file tied to ArhontCloud infrastructure being shared openly. The file contained 47,360 records collected by infostealer malware from compromised endpoints. Each record in the log included an email address, a plaintext password, and at least one URL showing which services or websites the stolen credentials were used on. Finding this kind of data circulating freely on Telegram is a sign that the information is being actively shared and could be used at any moment.

Why This Is Dangerous

Plaintext passwords paired with specific service URLs are the most actionable type of stolen data there is. An attacker with this file knows exactly where to log in and exactly what password to use. They do not need to spend time cracking hashes or figuring out which accounts exist. They can move directly from the spreadsheet to the login page. With 47,360 records available, attackers can automate this process and run through thousands of accounts in minutes, testing each credential against multiple services at once.

What Was Exposed in the ArhontCloud Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs for websites and online services
  • Endpoint data and API host addresses from infected devices

Why This Matters

Data like this does not disapear after it circulates on Telegram. It gets saved, shared, and re-uploaded repeatedly. That means the window of risk is not just the day it was posted. It stays open for months or years. Anyone whose credentials are in this log faces ongoing exposure to account takeover, identity theft, fraudulent transactions, and credential stuffing across every service where they reuse the same password. Changing your password on just one account is not enough if the same password exists elsewhere.

How a Stealer Log Works

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware, software designed to silently harvest credentials from infected computers. The malware typically arrives through a phishing email, a compromised download link, or a fake browser plugin. Once installed, it scans for saved logins in browsers like Chrome and Firefox, reads session cookies, and even captures keystrokes as you type passwords. Everything collected gets sent to the attacker's server, where it is compiled into a log file and then distributed on channels like Telegram or sold on dark web forums.
