AuroraLogsTeam Stealer Log: 10,177 Credentials Harvested From Infected Devices

In April 2025, a user operating as "AuroraLogsTeam" uploaded a stealer log file to Telegram containing 10,177 endpoint records. Unlike traditional data breaches -- where a platform's database is compromised from the outside -- this is a stealer log: a compilation of credentials and session data harvested directly from the infected devices of individual users by Aurora infostealer malware. Each record represents a real person whose computer was comprimised, with their email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of services they were accessing captured and exfiltrated without their knowledge.

AuroraLogsTeam 168count (April 2025): Stealer Log Summary

  • Records Exposed: 10,177
  • Data Types: Email addresses, plaintext passwords, URLs (API endpoints and services accessed)
  • Breach Type: Stealer log -- credentials harvested from malware-infected endpoints, not a direct database breach
  • Password Type: Plaintext -- captured directly from browser sessions and credential stores by infostealer malware
  • Date Leaked: April 23, 2025

What Is Aurora Infostealer Malware?

Aurora is an infostealer malware family that emerged as a commercial offering on dark web forums, marketed to cybercriminals on a subscription or licensing basis. Once installed on a victim's device -- typically through phishing emails, malicious downloads, or comprimised software installers -- Aurora systematically extracts stored credentials from web browsers, password managers, and application sessions. It captures passwords as they are autofilled or entered, making it effective against credentials that users have long since forgotten they stored. The URL data in each record reveals which services the victim was accessing, providing attackers with a map of the platforms associated with each compromised email address.

The URL Data Dimension

What distinguishes stealer logs from standard credential dumps is the inclusion of URL data alongside email-password pairs. In a database breach, attackers know that a given email and password were used on a specific platform. In a stealer log, attackers see the full list of services the victim was accessing from their infected device -- banking portals, employer VPNs, API dashboards, and personal accounts simultaneously. For the 10,177 individuals in this log, the URL data provides a roadmap: an attacker can prioritize high-value trgeted attacks against financial platforms, corporate access systems, and API endpoints listed in the URLs, rather than running generic credential stuffing across random services.

Stealer Logs vs Database Breaches

Traditional breach notifications tell you that a specific platform was compromised. Stealer logs tell you that a specific person's device was compromised -- which is a fundamentaly more invasive form of exposure. The credentials in this log didn't come from a hacked company server; they came from the victim's own device, harvested in real time. This means the passwords are not just hashes to be cracked -- they are the exact passwords the person uses right now, captured the moment they typed or autofilled them. For 10,177 individuals, this represents an immediate, actionable credential exposure across every service they access.
