BabaCloudLogs 350 Leaked 17,615 Passwords. Change Them Now.
HEROIC analysts found a stealer log file posted to a public Telegram channel on May 25, 2025. The file was labeled BabaCloudLogs 350 Cloud Logs 25.05.2025 2 and contained 17,615 records taken directly from infected endpoints. Every record in the file includes an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the service where that password was used. If your credentials appear here, they are sitting in a publicly downloadable file right now.
Why This Is Dangerous
Plaintext passwords need no decryption. The moment this file was posted, every email and password in it became instantly usable by anyone who downloaded it. Attackers are not waiting. Automated tools scan Telegram channels for credential dumps and begin testing logins within minutes of a file being posted. The API host URLs in this dataset make it worse because they point attackers directly at business systems, cloud platforms, and infrastructure endpoints where a single valid login can cause serious damage.
What Was Exposed
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- URLs (service login pages and API host endpoints captured at the time of infection)
Why This Matters
This is not a theoretical risk. Credential stuffing attacks using fresh stealer log data have a high success rate because the passwords are current and have not been rotated yet. With 17,615 records available, attackers have thousands of oppertunities to find a working login. Each successful attempt can lead to account takover, unauthorized access to sensitive data, fraudulent charges, and in business environments, a pathway into your entire network. Identity theft and financial fraud are standard outcomes when plaintext credential dumps this fresh get exploited.
How Stealer Logs Reach Telegram
Infostealers infect computers through phishing emails, fake software downloads, and malicious ads. Once running, they silently extract saved passwords, browser cookies, and typed credentials. The results get packaged into a log file and sent back to the attacker's server. From there, the attacker posts the file on Telegram or other public channels, either to sell it or to build a reputation in underground communities. BabaCloudLogs 350 followed this path exactly, going from infected endpoints to a public Telegram post on May 25, 2025, with no indication of when or whether the affected users were notified.
