More Than 5,000 Passwords Exposed in Bugatti Cloud Telegram Leak
Bugatti Cloud Stealer Log Part017: What HEROIC Analysts Found
HEROIC analysts tracked a second file in the same series, "Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man 14.06.part017," uploaded to a Telegram channel on 14 July 2024. This batch contained 5,393 records, each combining an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL tied to the login.
Why This Bugatti Cloud Batch Is Dangerous
This file wasn't stolen from a company server. It was harvested one device at a time by malware sitting quietly on victims' computers, recording every login as it happened. The malware then bundled the captured usernames, passwords, and site addresses into a file that was later handed out for free on Telegram. Since the passwords are plaintext and already matched to the exact site, an attacker can use them immediately, no cracking or guessing required.
What Was Exposed in This File
- Email addresses used to sign into online accounts
- Plaintext passwords tied to those accounts
- URLs showing exactly which sites and services the logins unlock
Why This Matters
Passwords rarely stay unique. Most people reuse a handful of them across banking, email, shopping, and social accounts, so a single leaked password can unlock several parts of someone's digital life. With the matching URL included, attackers can run these 5,393 credential pairs straight into credential stuffing tools that automatically test them against dozens of sites at once, no manual effort needed.
How Stealer Logs Work
Stealer logs come from information-stealing malware that infects a device, often through a pirated app, a fake update, or a malicious attachment, and quietly copies whatever is saved in the browser: usernames, passwords, cookies, and autofill data. The malware ships this data back to whoever controls it, and it eventually surfaces in Telegram channels or dark web marketplaces, split into numbered parts like this one. The coded, part-numbered filenames are simply how the uploader organized a larger batch of stolen data.
