The breach occured in July 2017 and affected a tourism directory website serving the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. Over 412,000 unique email addresses were exposed alongside passwords stored in plaintext, meaning they required no cracking whatsoever. Any attacker who obtained this database had immediate access to working username and password pairs.
