Researchers Link the CyanoticCloud Combolist to 1,957 Stolen Logins
HEROIC analysts traced a combolist called "CyanoticCloud" to a Telegram upload dated February 18, 2026. The file contains 1,957 records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs each login belongs to, compiled into a single file ready for anyone who downloads it.
Why This Is Dangerous
Every one of these 1,957 records pairs a working plaintext password with a specific email address and the exact site it unlocks. There is no cracking or guessing involved. An attacker only needs to copy the credentials out of the file and attempt to log in on the matching site, which can happen within minutes of the file being downloaded.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the accounts tied to each login
Why This Matters
Combolists like CyanoticCloud are built for credential stuffing, where the same email and password combination is tested automatically across banking sites, email providers, and social media platforms. Anyone who reused this password elsewhere is at risk of account takeover, financial fraud, or identity theft, regardless of how small the original list may seem.
How This Combolist Was Assembled
Combolists like this are usually built from older breaches, stealer log outputs, or previously exposed databases, then reformatted into simple email:password pairs so they can be run through automated login-checking tools. Once compiled, they are shared freely or sold on Telegram channels, where HEROIC analysts identified this particular file.
Check If You Are Affected
If you have ever reused a password across different accounts, it is worth checking your exposure now. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches a database of more than 400 billion leaked records to show you whether your email and password appear in the CyanoticCloud combolist or any other exposure, so you can update your credentials before someone else uses them.
