HEROIC analysts spotted a combolist labeled "dbmail1.com" posted to a Telegram channel on 10-Jun-2026. The file contained 15,514 records pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords, along with associated URLs linking each credential back to the service it was used on.

Why This Is Dangerous

At over 15,000 entries, this is a large enough list that automated tools can churn through it quickly, testing every email and password pair against popular websites within hours. Because the passwords are stored in plaintext rather than hashed, there is no extra step for an attacker to take. The credentials work exactly as they were typed by the original account holders.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated URLs

Why This Matters

A list of this size gives criminals enough volume to run a serious credential stuffing campaign, feeding all 15,514 pairs into bots that automatically try each login across banking, email, retail, and social media sites. Anyone who reused a password from this list on another account is at risk of account takeover, and once one account falls, attackers often pivot to draining funds or stealing enough personal details to commit identity theft.

How This Combolist Was Put Together

A combolist like this one is typically assembled from data scraped out of older breaches, phishing kits, or malware that harvests saved logins from infected devices, then organized into a single text file. The people compiling these lists are not always the original hackers, they often collect and repackage credentials from multiple leaks before distributing the finished file through Telegram channels aimed at other cybercriminals.
