In late February 2026, HEROIC analysts spotted a very small stealer log labeled Good_Magento, uploaded to a Telegram channel by an unnamed user. The file contained just 2 records, each combining an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the login page it belongs to. The name suggests these two credential pairs are tied to accounts on a Magento-based online store, likely an administrator or staff login rather than a customer account.

Why This Is Dangerous

A file this small is easy to overlook, but the risk is not about volume, it is about what the two exposed logins can access. If either credential belongs to a store administrator account, an attacker who uses it could gain control over an online store's backend, including customer data, order records, and payment configuration.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs for the associated login pages

Why This Matters

Even with only 2 records, the consequences depend entirely on what those accounts control. Since these appear linked to a Magento store, a compromised login could let an attacker reach customer order histories or payment settings, and if either password is reused on personal accounts, that person's email or banking logins could be at risk too.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are collected by infostealer malware that infects a device through sources like pirated software, fake updates, or malicious attachments, then quietly harvests saved browser passwords and autofill data. That stolen information is sent back to the attacker, and small, specific finds like this two-record Magento log are often shared alongside larger files on the same Telegram channels and dark web forums.

Check If You Are Affected

Whether a leak involves 2 records or 2 million, checking is free and takes only seconds. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches a database of more than 400 billion breached records, including small stealer logs like this one, so you can confirm whether your email has been exposed.
