The breach, discovered on March 8, 2023, exposed a significant volume of sensitive customer information. What struck us immediately was the relatively small yet potentially impactful dataset size, coupled with the specific demographic targeted by the compromised entity, raising immediate concerns about targeted social engineering campaigns.

The breach involved a database compromise at Hayyu Skin Clinic, resulting in the exposure of approximately 4,988 unique records. The leaked data includes a comprehensive set of personally identifiable information (PII) such as email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, first names, and last names. Critically, the dataset also contains MD5 hashed passwords, a weaker hashing algorithm that, while not directly revealing passwords, is susceptible to brute-force attacks and rainbow table lookups, especially for common password patterns.
