HEROIC Analysts Flag BabaCloudLogs Leak of 199,072 Accounts
HEROIC analysts flagged a stealer log named BabaCloudLogs 303 K ULP LINE after it appeared on Telegram on July 1, 2025. The file holds 199,072 records, each containing a plaintext email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site the login belongs to.
Why This Is Dangerous
Once our team gets eyes on a file like this, the danger is usually already in motion. Because the passwords are stored in plain text, anyone who downloads the log can begin testing credentials right away with no technical skill required. The attached URLs make things worse by telling attackers precisely which service each password unlocks, turning a generic list into a targeted attack plan in seconds.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses (199,072 records)
- Plaintext passwords, unencrypted and ready to use
- URLs identifying the exact site tied to each login
Why This Matters
Nearly two hundred thousand people had their login details handed to whoever wanted them on Telegram. Attackers typically run these credentials through automated tools, checking each one accross popular sites until something works. Anyone who reuses passwords accross multiple accounts is especially vulnerable, since a single match can open the door to email, banking, or shopping accounts all at once. Victims often only find out after unusual activity shows up on a statement.
How Stealer Logs Work
BabaCloudLogs, like most stealer logs HEROIC tracks, was almost certainly built from infostealer malware that infects a device through phishing links, cracked software, or fake browser add-ons. Once running, it quietly gathers saved passwords and session data from the browser, then sends everything back to the attacker in a neatly organized package. The person whose device it's running on rarely notices anything wrong until it's much too late.
