In July 2026, HEROIC analysts monitoring Telegram leak channels identified a large combolist posted under the name HolyCloud Private 239. The file, uploaded by an anonymous Telegram user, contained 1,189,008 records, each combining an email address with a plaintext password, with many entries also including the URL of the site the credentials belonged to.

Why This Is Dangerous

At well over a million entries, this is not a small leak. Every password in the HolyCloud Private 239 file was stored in plaintext, meaning anyone who obtains the list can start testing logins immediately, with no password cracking required. The attached URLs make things worse, since they tell an attacker exactly which site or service each stolen login was used on, turning a giant spreadsheet of credentials into a targeted attack tool.

What Was Exposed

Based on verified data from this listing, the following information was included:

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs linked to the associated accounts

Why This Matters

A combolist of this size gives criminals enormous scale. Automated tools can run credential stuffing attacks across all 1,189,008 pairs in a matter of hours, checking each email and password against banking sites, email providers, and online retailers. Anyone who reused a password on more than one site is at risk of account takeover, and from there, identity theft and financial fraud become a real possibility, especially since the accounts targeted may have no direct connection to where the data was originally captured.

How Combolists Are Built

A combolist like HolyCloud Private 239 is typically assembled from many smaller sources, older breaches, phishing campaigns, and malware-infected devices, then merged into one large file of email-and-password combinations. The person who compiles and uploads it does not need to have hacked anything directly. They simply collect existing stolen credentials, format them into a usable list, and share or sell the result on Telegram and dark web forums, where a million-plus record file like this one becomes an attractive resource for less sophisticated attackers.

Check If You Are Affected

With over a million records in this single combolist, the odds that your email address is included are worth taking seriously. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your address against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, including combolists like HolyCloud Private 239. Run a search now to see if your credentials are exposed, and change any reused passwords right away.
