Everyday Users Caught in the HolyCloud 243 Leak: 1.19M Records
"HolyCloud Private 243" Stealer Log Exposes 1,185,530 Records
HEROIC analysts identified a large stealer log file labeled "HolyCloud Private 243" that surfaced on a Telegram channel on July 18, 2026. The file contained 1,185,530 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the accounts those credentials unlock. This file is part of a series of "HolyCloud" stealer logs uploaded around the same time, each pulling in credentials from everyday internet users rather than any single company or platform.
Why This Is Dangerous
Because a batch this large is built from malware infections spread across a huge number of individual devices, it captures passwords exactly as typed into the browser, in plaintext rather than hashed. Paired with the matching URL for each account, an attacker has close to 1.19 million ready-to-use logins, each one already matched to the site it unlocks.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the accounts the credentials belong to
Why This Matters
With a file this size, it is almost certain that a significant number of these 1,185,530 people reused a password on other accounts. Attackers rely on that habit to run credential stuffing at scale, automatically testing leaked logins against email, banking, and social media platforms. That can lead directly to account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud for a large number of victims at once.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log is created when malware, often hidden inside a cracked program, fake download, or malicious attachment, infects a device and quietly collects everything saved in the browser: usernames, passwords, autofill data, and browsing history. Logs from thousands of individually infected devices are combined into large packages like this one, then uploaded to Telegram channels under a batch name for others to use.
