How a Telegram Upload Exposed 25,280 joga-joga.pl Logins
On 17 November 2020, a combolist tying 25,280 email and password pairs to joga-joga.pl logins reached a Telegram channel where HEROIC's analysts later found it. Every password in the file is stored as plaintext alongside the login URL it belongs to. Check your exposure with a free scan your email.
Why this is dangerous
The file requires no work to use. There's no hash to crack, and the included URLs tell an attacker exactly which service each pair unlocks, removing the guesswork that normally slows a credential stuffing attempt down.
What was exposed
- Email addresses, the identifying anchor for each record.
- Plaintext passwords, readable and reusable without cracking.
- Login URLs, confirming joga-joga.pl as the linked service.
Why this matters
A password captured for one site rarely stays limited to that site once it leaks. If the same password protects an email inbox or another login, this file gives an attacker everything needed to try it there, with over 25,000 chances to find a reused pair.
How this breach type works
Combolists like this one are compiled from earlier leaks and malware output, not from a direct hack of joga-joga.pl itself. Once assembled, the file becomes fuel for credential stuffing, where each pair is run against a wide range of other login pages automatically.
How can you check your own exposure?
Run a free scan your email to compare your address against this file and everything else HEROIC has indexed. If you're listed, change that password immediately, along with any other login where you used the same one. Do this for both personal and work email addresses to close every angle, and keep the new password unique this time rather than recycling it again.
