A Second KATANA_CLOUD Stealer Log Appears: PRIVATE 3320

Shortly after a related file surfaced, HEROIC analysts tracked a second stealer log, KATANA_CLOUD PRIVATE 3320, uploaded to Telegram on 14 Aug 2026. This log holds 108 records, each combining an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site the credentials belong to.

Why This Is Dangerous

The passwords here were never hashed or encrypted, and they are paired directly with the web addresses they unlock. That combination removes the biggest obstacle to account takeover: an attacker does not need to crack a password hash or guess which site it goes with, they just need to try logging in.

What Was Exposed in the KATANA_CLOUD PRIVATE 3320 Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login pages

Why This Matters

A log with 108 records may look small next to headline-grabbing breaches, but scale is not the point. Every one of those 108 people faces the same risk: if they reused this password anywhere else, attackers can use credential stuffing tools to test it across banking sites, email providers, and social platforms until one works. That single reused password can cascade into identity theft or financial fraud.

How These Stealer Logs Keep Showing Up

Stealer malware runs quietly in the background of an infected device, harvesting whatever passwords and autofill data the browser has saved, then exporting it all into a log file. Criminal groups run this process at scale across thousands of infected machines, which is why closely numbered files like KATANA_CLOUD PRIVATE 3319 and 3320 appear back to back. Each new log is another batch pulled from the same operation and pushed out through Telegram.

Check If You Are Affected
