HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log named "11Kk ULP," linked to the actor firegoon, after it appeared on a hacking forum on June 21, 2024. The log contains 1,812,724 unique email addresses, each paired with a plaintext password and the website address where that login was used.

Why This Is Dangerous

Unlike a hashed password, a plaintext password needs no cracking at all. Anyone who downloads this log can immediately try each email and password pair against the site listed next to it, and against every other popular login page, banking, email, social media, with zero extra effort. The included homepage URL even tells an attacker which service the credentials originally belonged to, making it easier to target the right account.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Homepage URLs (the site each login was used on)

Why This Matters

Stealer logs like this one are built for automation. Criminals load lists like "11Kk ULP" into credential stuffing tools that test millions of email and password combinations against popular websites in minutes, flagging every login that still works. If your email is one of the 1,812,724 in this file and you have not changed that password since, your accounts could already be accessible to someone else.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log comes from information-stealing malware that infects a victim's device, often through a fake download, cracked software, or a malicious email attachment. Once installed, the malware quietly copies saved usernames, passwords, and browsing history straight out of the browser and sends it back to the attacker. Unlike a database breach, which targets one company's servers, a stealer log can contain logins for hundreds of different websites all pulled from the same infected computers, which is exactly why this log includes a mix of email, password, and homepage combinations rather than data from a single source.
