HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dump known as LeakBase 15Kk ULP #4 by firegoon, published to a hacking forum on May 3, 2024. The file contained roughly 15 million total lines, narrowing down to 2,850 unique email addresses, each paired with a plaintext password and the homepage URL the credentials were used on.

Why This Small but Precise Leak Is Still Dangerous

This dataset is smaller than some of the mega-breaches that make headlines, but the format makes it just as usable for an attacker. Each of the 2,850 unique records pairs an email address and password with the exact website it unlocks, so there is no cracking or guessing involved. An attacker can automate logging into every listed account within minutes of getting the file.

What the LeakBase 15Kk ULP #4 Dump Contains

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Homepage URLs

Why This Matters Even at a Smaller Scale

A smaller record count does not mean a smaller risk to the people affected. If your email address is among the 2,850 unique entries in this dump, the plaintext password sitting next to it may still be the one you use today on the same site, or on others. Attackers do not need millions of records to cause harm, they only need yours.

How a Stealer Log Becomes a ULP Dump Like This

This breach is classified as a stealer log, meaning the data was harvested from individual devices infected with information-stealing malware rather than pulled from one company's database. That malware quietly copies saved logins directly out of an infected browser, capturing the plaintext password and the URL it belongs to. Logs collected from many infected devices are combined, filtered down to unique entries like the 2,850 here, and then published on forums like the one where this dataset surfaced.
