Logs_9 July: 35,585 Login Credentials Leaked in a Single Telegram Drop

HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file named "Logs_9 July" uploaded to a Telegram channel on 9 July 2026. The file contained 35,585 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL of the site the credential was pulled from.

The simple, dated filename is typical of how stealer log operators organize daily harvests, batching whatever their malware collected that day into a single release rather than building a themed or branded product.

Why This Is Dangerous

With 35,585 ready-to-use logins in one file, Logs_9 July gives an attacker enormous scale without any technical effort. Each record already includes the plaintext password and the exact URL it works on, so there is nothing to crack and nothing to guess before the credential can be used.

What Was Exposed in Logs_9 July

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login pages

Why This Matters

A batch of this size is exactly what powers large-scale credential stuffing, where attackers run automated scripts that test the same email and password pair across banking, email, and shopping sites. Because so many people reuse passwords, a leaked login from Logs_9 July can quickly cascade into account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud far beyond the original infected device.

How Stealer Logs Like This Are Collected

Stealer malware infects a device, often through a cracked download or phishing link, and silently copies every saved password and autofill entry from the browser. The results are bundled into a log file, in this case labeled Logs_9 July after its upload date, and distributed on Telegram to buyers or, as here, given away to build an audience.
