Source Type Stealer log
Origin United States
Password Type plaintext

In June 2025, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file labeled MetaCloudVipNew 400 PCS to the dark web, exposing 19,640 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs. To put that number in perspektive, 19,640 people is more than the entire population of many small American cities. Every one of those records represents a real person whose login credentials were silently stolen and are now circulating freely among cybercriminals.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are among the most dangerous types of leaked data because the passwords are already in plaintext -- no cracking required. Attackers can immediately use these credentials in automated login attempts across hundreds of popular websites and services. With 19,640 records available, this breach gives cybercriminals a ready-made list for large-scale credential stuffing campaigns that can unlock bank accounts, email inboxes, and social media profiles within minutes.

Why This Matters

The scale here is significant. At 19,640 records, this dump is large enough to power a sustained credential stuffing campain targeting multiple services simultaneously. Stealer log victims typically do not know they have been compromised because the malware operates completley silently. By the time suspicious account activity appears, attackers may have already accessed financial accounts, changed recovery information, and locked victims out permanently.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware spreads through phishing links, fake software downloads, pirated games, and malicious browser extensions. Once it runs on a device, it immediately scans for saved passwords in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other browsers, plus any autofill data and active session cookies. All of this is packaged into a log file and uploaded to Telegram channels or dark web markets, where it is sold or shared freely. The entire process can happen within seconds of infection without any visible sign to the user.
