In late April 2026, HEROIC analysts spotted a stealer log dump called "Mix Fresh B4_Jx" uploaded to a Telegram channel by an anonymous user. The file contained 1,108 records tied to United States based accounts, made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those credentials were used on.

Why This Is Dangerous

Because the passwords in this dump are stored in plaintext and paired with the exact login URL, an attacker does not need to crack or guess anything to use them. Over a thousand credential sets in one file means an attacker can automate the process of trying each login against its matching site, moving through the list far faster than any manual attempt.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login sites

Why This Matters

A dataset of this size is large enough to be useful in automated credential stuffing attacks, where attackers test every email and password pair from this leak against other popular sites, hoping some of the 1,108 passwords were reused. Any match gives an attacker a foothold that can be used for further identity theft or financial fraud, particularly if the compromised account is an email address that can be used to reset passwords elsewhere.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are generated by infostealer malware, which spreads through pirated software, cracked downloads, or malicious attachments and quietly collects saved usernames, passwords, and browsing URLs from an infected device's browser. These logs are then commonly shared on Telegram channels or sold on dark web forums, exactly as happened with this file, giving criminals a large batch of working credentials to test.
