HEROIC analysts found a stealer log named "Trident_Cloud_4" uploaded to a single public Telegram channel on September 29, 2024. Inside that one file sat 10,875 records of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and associated URLs, harvested from infected devices and left for anyone to download.

One File, Thousands of Exposed Logins

It took only one upload to a single Telegram channel to put 10,875 people's credentials in the open. There was no sprawling database or years-long breach investigation involved, just a stealer log file, quietly posted, containing everything an attacker needs to try logging into someone else's accounts.

What Was Exposed in the Trident_Cloud_4 Dump

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated login URLs

Why This Matters for the 10,875 People Affected

Because the passwords in this file are plaintext and matched directly to the URLs they unlock, an attacker can attempt to log in immediately, no cracking needed. If someone reused that password on their email, banking, or social accounts, credential stuffing can turn one exposed login into several, opening the door to identity theft and financial fraud.

How Stealer Logs Like Trident_Cloud_4 Get Created

Stealer logs come from infostealer malware that infects a device through a fake download, cracked software, or a malicious attachment. Once running, it quietly copies saved browser passwords, autofill data, and login URLs, then sends everything back to the attacker. The resulting file, like this Trident_Cloud_4 upload, is then packaged and shared or sold through Telegram channels and dark web marketplaces.
