One Telegram Post. 2,140 Hotmail Logins. All Marked Valid 100.
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dataset, tracked as MAIL ACCESS 2K HOTMAIL MIX VALID 100, that a Telegram user uploaded on 06-Oct-2025. One post, one file, 2,140 records, all Hotmail email addresses paired with plaintext passwords and the login page URLs tied to those accounts.
Why This Is Dangerous
The label "valid 100" means the person who uploaded this file claims to have already confirmed every single login works. That single detail matters, it means an attacker does not need to test which of the 2,140 credentials are real, they can assume all of them are and start using them immediately.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the associated login pages
Why This Matters
A Hotmail inbox often controls password resets and identity verification for other accounts. With 2,140 confirmed working logins in one file, access to even a handful of these inboxes can cascade into credential stuffing, account takeover, and in more serious cases identity theft or financial fraud.
How Stealer Logs Work
Stealer log malware infects a device, often through a fake download, cracked software, or a malicious attachment, and quietly copies saved browser passwords, autofill data, and session details. Sellers then test the stolen logins against the original site and label the batch "valid" once confirmed, packaging it by provider and quantity, in this case 2,000 Hotmail credentials, before sharing it through Telegram.
