In August 2025, HEROIC analysts identified a combolist file uploaded to a single Telegram channel under the label "Ok." That one upload contained 1,127 exposed records tied to United States based accounts, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those login pairs unlock.

Why This Is Dangerous

One upload was all it took to put over a thousand working logins into circulation. Each record pairs a plaintext password with the exact site it belongs to, so an attacker does not need any technical skill, just a copy of the file, to start testing accounts.

What Was Exposed in This "Ok" Combolist

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs linked to each set of credentials

Why This Matters

A single file with 1,127 credential pairs is enough to fuel a wide scale credential stuffing attack. If any of these passwords were reused on other accounts, attackers can pivot from one login into email, banking, or shopping accounts, resulting in account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud for the people involved.

How One Upload Turns Into a Combolist

A combolist like this one starts as scattered email and password pairs collected from older breaches, phishing pages, or stealer malware infections. Someone compiles them into a single organized file, often labeled with a short, generic name like "Ok," and uploads it once to a Telegram channel where it can then be copied and redistributed indefinitely.
