121-Record PE190.235.120.131 Stealer Log Shared on Telegram
HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log file uploaded to a public Telegram channel on March 16, 2025. The log was attributed to a compromised endpoint identified as IP address 190.235.120.131, geolocated to Peru. The file contained 121 records harvested from infected devices, each pairing an email address and plaintext password with the URL of the service where those credentials were used. This type of data gives attackers an instant roadmap to victims' accounts with no guesswork required.
Why This Is Dangerous
Every record in this log is a fully assembled key to an account. Attackers do not need to crack or guess anything because the passwords are already in plain text and tied directly to the URL where they work. With 121 of these ready-to-use credential sets, a criminal can log into email accounts, company portals, or API services within minutes. A single compromised API credential can open doors into an entire organization's infrastructure.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs (service endpoints and API hosts)
Why This Matters
Stealer logs like this one are a direct pipeline to credential stuffing attacks and account takeovers. When your login details are in a file like this, every account where you reused that password becomes vulnerable. API credentials included in these logs can give attackers access to business systems, databases, and cloud environments. The consequenses extend well beyond a single hacked account and can lead to identity theft, financial fraud, and corporate data breaches. Even a small log of 121 records can be devastaing if any of those accounts belong to administrators or hold sensitive data.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log is produced by infostealer malware that runs silently on a victim's computer or phone. Once installed, the malware monitors the device and captures usernames, passwords, and the URLs of every site the victim logs into. It also collects saved credentials from web browsers and applications. All of this is packaged into a log file and sent back to the attacker. These logs are then shared or sold on Telegram channels and dark web forums, where other criminals buy them in bulk to fuel account takeover campaigns.
