Stealer Log Tied to planet.nl Accounts Surfaces on Telegram

On 12 June 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log shared inside a Telegram channel containing 4,672 records linked to planet.nl account holders. Unlike a traditional corporate hack, this data was harvested directly from infected devices by information-stealing malware, then bundled and uploaded for other criminals to use. The log includes email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the exact login URLs tied to each set of credentials.

Why a Plaintext Password Dump Is Especially Dangerous

Because the passwords here were captured in plaintext rather than as encrypted hashes, an attacker does not need to crack anything before using them. The credentials in this log can be tested against planet.nl and other accounts immediately, which makes this type of leak far more urgent than a typical breach where stolen passwords are scrambled and time-consuming to reverse.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • The login URLs associated with each credential pair

From a Stolen Password to a Drained Account

With a working email and password pair in hand, an attacker's first move is usually credential stuffing: automatically trying that same combination across banking sites, email providers, and shopping accounts. Because so many people reuse passwords, one exposed planet.nl login can quickly turn into a takeover of unrelated accounts, opening the door to identity theft and financial fraud far beyond the original site.

How This Stealer Log Was Likely Built

Stealer logs like this one come from infostealer malware, malicious software that quietly installs itself on a victim's computer (often through a pirated download, fake software update, or malicious attachment) and then copies every saved password, cookie, and autofill entry from the browser. The malware sends this data back to the attacker, who organizes it by the websites involved, in this case planet.nl, and resells or shares the resulting log on Telegram channels and dark web forums.

Check If You Are Affected

If you have ever logged into planet.nl or reused that same password elsewhere, it is worth finding out now rather than later. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion breached and leaked records, including stealer logs like this one, so you can see instantly whether your credentials have surfaced and take action before someone else does.
