In December 2024, a threat actor uploaded a stealer log file nicknamed "Poland Valid Access" to a Telegram channel, exposing 576 records. The file contained email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the login URLs those credentials unlock, all harvested from malware-infected devices.

Why the Poland Valid Access Leak Is Dangerous

Unlike a stolen password list on its own, this stealer log pairs each email address with its matching plaintext password and the exact web address it unlocks. That combination is what makes stealer logs so valuable to criminals: there is no guesswork involved. Anyone who downloads the file can plug the credentials directly into the listed sites and log in.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • Associated login URLs

All 576 records in this log were stored and shared in plaintext, meaning no encryption or hashing stood between the data and whoever obtained the file.

Why This Matters

Even a small stealer log like this one can cause outsized damage. Criminals feed leaked email and password pairs into automated tools that test the same login across banking, email, and shopping sites, a tactic known as credential stuffing. If you reused a password from this leak anywhere else, every one of those accounts is now at risk of takeover, and from there, identity theft and financial fraud are only a few clicks away.

How Stealer Log Leaks Work

Stealer logs come from malware that infects a victim's device, quietly copying saved passwords, autofill data, and browsing history straight out of the browser. The malware bundles everything into a file and sends it back to the attacker, who often resells or shares it on Telegram channels like the one where this file surfaced. That is how a single infected computer can end up exposing dozens of accounts at once.
