HEROIC analysts identified and catalogued a stealer log file tied to prdscloud that was uploaded to Telegram in August 2023. The log exposed 726 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs. This type of leak originates from malware silently installed on victims' devices, harvesting credentials before the user ever knows something is wrong. The breach has been verified and is now searchable in HEROIC's breach intelligence database.

Why the prdscloud Stealer Log Is Dangerous

What makes this particular log alarming is the combination of data exposed. Attackers received not just usernames and passwords, but also the exact URLs where those credentials were used. That means they did not have to guess which services to target. Every entry in this log came with a direct map pointing to the login page, the account, and the working password. With plaintext passwords included, there was no cracking required. The credentials were immediately usable.

Stealer logs shared on Telegram reach thousands of threat actors within hours of being posted. By the time a victim learns their data was exposed, their accounts may already have been accessed, drained, or sold to a third party.

What Was Exposed in the prdscloud Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs (specific login pages and endpoints)

Why This Matters

Plaintext passwords are the most dangerous form of exposed credential. They require no additional processing by an attacker. When combined with email addresses and the exact URLs where those credentials work, the result is a ready-to-use attack package.

Most people reuse passwords across multiple accounts. A password harvested from one service can be tested against email providers, banking apps, social media, and cloud storage using automated tools. This process, known as credential stuffing, lets attackers compromise dozens of accounts from a single leaked record. Identity theft, unauthorized purchases, account lockouts, and financial fraud are all common outcomes.

How Stealer Logs Like prdscloud Work

Stealer malware is a category of malicious software designed to silently collect credentials from an infected device. It typically arrives through phishing emails, fake software downloads, or malicious browser extensions. Once installed, it runs in the background and captures everything the user types or autofills into login forms.

The collected data is packaged into a log file and sent back to the attacker. These logs are then sold on underground markets or, in cases like this one, shared freely on Telegram to build reputation within criminal communities. Free distribution means the data reaches a far wider audience of bad actors than a paid sale would.
