In May 2026, HEROIC analysts discovered a stealer log file named "Priv3" circulating on a Telegram channel. The dataset contains 1,194 compromised records extracted from infected devices across the United States. Each record pairs an email address with a plaintext password and the URL where the credential was used, giving attackers a complete roadmap for account takeover.


Why Plaintext Passwords Are an Open Invitation
